My Mother is being Evicted

  As many of you may know we were doing fundraisers to raise funds to retain an Attorney for my Mother, to fight this "Immoral Eviction". My mother's name is Alva Wright she will be 74 on November 4th 2023, she is currently being evicted by my dad's brother Lonnie Wright, Let me share with you all the history and why we are doing A Go fund Me. My  mother and my dad's mother/ my grandmother had a very special relationship, my mother was more than a daughter- in- law my grandmother loved my mother very much.

   The house that my grandparents lived in was the family spot, because we were all so close. My grandmother later moved into another house after her and my grandfather split, she and my mother had a conversation and came up with a verbal agreement that if my mother would pay her a specific amount a month she could live in the house, so my mother kept her agreement for over 45 year's which shows tremendous stability. Me and my siblings lived in this house, I went to middle school, high school and had my 3 children in this home and raised them there for most of there lives 

    My Grandfather past in 2007 and my mother remained in the home, in June of 2016 my grandmother took sick, we we're all called to the hospital and she was speaking in her right mind, she had all her family and some friends at the hospital. My grandmother was talking to her family and she said in front of everyone that she wanted my mother, that she affectionately called Albo to stay in the house, so everyone heard her even Lonnie Wright. My Grandmother was called home July 28th 2016 we buried her on August 3rd 2016 and everything and everyone was doing okay even though her death was rough, because my grandmother was the Matriarch of the Wright family. So after her passing my mother  still kept her end of the agreement with an Aunt Natasha Suber and she was collecting money from my mom and doing nothing towards the property, Natasha let it leak out to  Uncle Lonnie Wright and then he started collecting the money from the end of 2016 till December 2022, now why it stopped in 2022 because Lonnie Wright was collecting money and he wasn't a landlord nor was his name on the house, and he wanted to go up on the amount she was paying, but he wasn't doing any repairs he wasn't paying the property taxes.No one has ever done anything to this property other than my mother as far as repairs and etc.,and she was not the owner she was renting.Again there was never an written agreement only verbal between my mother and my grandmother (which is Lonnie Wright's mother) so on  August 22nd 2023 Lonnie Wright was appointed the PR over the property, so at this point Uncle Lonnie Wright is going against his mother's dying wishes.The reason I say "Immoral Eviction " is because my mother has never missed a payment in over 45 years and because my mother is not an Heir she legally does not have a leg to stand on in this case. His whole purpose is to get her out , this is why we are doing A Go Fund Me Lonnie Wright has evicted her and she has to be out of this property by 11:59 December 31st 2023. 

    So over the 45 years that she/ we have been in this property, we have had 4 generations that have grown up in this house.Everyone on both sides of the family have gathered here for 100's+ family events.Life can be very cruel and even more so when it's the people  whom you have called family. No one on either side of the family can tell you anything bad about my mother, and anyone in the Greenview neighborhood, or that knows her can attest to my mother's character, it's very unfortunate that she is being thrown out at the age of almost 74 by the people she called family. This has totally and permanently divided our family.

  My mother at this point in her life is on a fixed income, So we are asking for help to put my Mother in her very own home, where she can still be able to sit on her front porch and enjoy the rest of her life in Peace. I trust God if your able to help my Mother We would greatly appreciate your help, if you can't we totally understand but if you wouldn't mind sharing this and keep my Mother & our family in your thoughts and prayers. I changed the asking amount, because I don't want anyone to think we are trying to get over, my Mother deserves so much more and I know God is a Provider.
