My Mom Experienced a Stroke - We Need Help!

My mom was recently discharged from the hospital after having a stroke on March 22nd, 2020. The current diagnosis is paralysis on her left side, trouble speaking, and difficulty moving on her own. Social workers state that she will need two people to assist her at all times given her current condition. We chose to discharge her because we are unable to support her financially in the hospital. I am currently applying for Medi-Cal and any other social programs available. I am looking to raise money for medical supplies, a medical assistant, and rehab therapy. My mother requires two people around her at all times, but I have an absent father, so I am hoping to collect enough funds to adequately care for her. This all happened so suddenly on top of the chaos that COVID-19 has brought onto our communities, so I am at loss for what to do next. The social workers say that private nursing/care facilities cost about $2500-$5000 a month. With the way things are going financially, I plan to drop out of school as I am currently unable to pay for classes and take care of my mom at the same time. Any amount helps. Thank you!!
