Honoring my Mother Gaylon Kado: Please Help Lay Her to Rest!

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Souls,

It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that I share the sudden passing of my beloved mother just a day ago. Her departure was unexpected and devastating, leaving us in profound grief as we navigate this unimaginable loss.

My mother was a pillar of strength, love, and resilience—a woman who gave selflessly, nurtured deeply, and touched countless lives with her kindness. She was not just my mother; she was my heart, my protector, and my biggest supporter. Losing her so suddenly has left an unfillable void, and now, in the midst of our mourning, we are faced with the overwhelming responsibility of arranging her final farewell.

As many of you know, I am currently in New York City, while my mother was in San Diego at the time of her passing. Unfortunately, travel expenses, funeral costs, and final arrangements have placed a heavy financial burden on us. While we were not prepared for this tragedy, we are committed to ensuring that my mother receives a beautiful and dignified farewell, worthy of the love and light she brought into this world.

Includes funeral director services, crematory fees, refrigeration, and transfer of her remains.

Merchandise Costs:

Basic Cardboard Container: $193 (minimum)

Higher Options (Trayview or Stratus): $560–$700

Safely Home Travel Protection: $495 (optional, but important for peace of mind).

Travel Expenses: Estimated at $1,500+ to ensure family can be present.

Total Estimated Costs: $2,390–$2,897 (not including travel and additional fees).
