Hello everyone my mother's Dru's life was never easy, dealing with addiction most of her adult life she had many reasons to give up and never did. Just three weeks ago she was married and looking forward to a future of fishing and fussing. My mom was diagnosed with stage II lung cancer about 2 months ago and had a spot the size of a quarter that needed to be removed. She made her appointment for Monday 9/11 and was excited to get this thing into remission. Unfortunately the cancer was aggressive her Lung needed to be removed. While being in the hospital she contracted COVID-19. On Friday the 15th she was transferred to a CICU whe she could be better cared for. I was contacted by the her surgeon and told to fly out immediately to be by my mother's side. The next four days my my fought hard but on Tuesday September 19 my mother crossed over. I held her hand, sang her every church song I had ever heard letting her know it was OK to leave this body. This has broken my heart I'm not prepared for any of this and need help. Anything will help myself and family get through this and give my mom a home going with her family and friends. Thank your for taking the time to read this. Much Love, Jamie
