02/17/2026 - Below is my mom’s story from 2024. This past year of 2025 thankfully my mom has been in remission. Going through autoimmune therapy to going to routine check ups and scans. This unfortunately is causing us to come up with another few thousands out of pocket after insurance. Anything helps and we really appreciate everyone for helping us out in 2024. We are ready to get through this last stretch of medical bills.

This is my mom Brandie and this is her story, but the truth is it could be any of our stories. My mom went in for a routine checkup just like everyone does. Coming out of that checkup, we got more information that surprised us to say the least. My mom unfortunately just recently got diagnosed with HER2 breast cancer. She will be having surgery and will be undergoing chemo. There have been expenses come up that insurance is doing its job of covering as much as it can. We still have deductibles to pay out of pocket before these appointments. That being said my mom is having surgery March 13th. This deductible is $4,000. I have made the goal a bit higher as there will be many more appointments and unexpected bills that may arise. I hope you can find it in your hearts to help if you can.
