My mother was recently diagnosed with Trigeminal Nuralgia. She has to go to Johns Hopkins for a surgery we can barely afford. So far, insurance has been more than helpful. Our biggest issue is our home. The condition that my mother is in has caused her to be unable to work. We are working on getting disability for her but as most of you know that takes about a year just to start getting income. Our washer broke last week. And our back yard is currently being dug up to replace a water line we cannot afford, but we had no choice seeing as our basement was starting to flood. Some very great family and friends have supported in all ways they can. We have had money loaned to us, food given to us, prayers prayed. We have done our best to keep our heads above water however now it is more of struggle. Our power company is now threatening to shut off our power. On top of that we can't pay for car insurances or our mortgage. We have already sacrificed so much because of this. I'm not sure what else to do. Even if you can't help with any of these things please keep my mother in your thoughts and prayers as soon she will be undergoing open brain surgery.
