My Mom's Recovery from COVID & Kidney Failure

To my family, friends, and supporters,

As you may know, my name is Sabrina-Alexa. I am the youngest child in my family at 21 years old.

Since I was born, my mom was diagnosed with Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis & Lupus. An autoimmune disease, she has faced many challenges & plenty of immediate hospital visits.

During the holidays of 2021, my mom caught COVID as she was already experiencing signs of Kidney Failure. COVID has severely impacted her health with stage 5 kidney failure, worsened her lupus, and caused an outbreak of shingles that had attacked her face.

Throughout the months of her recovery from COVID, she has had more than a handful of emergency hospital visitations - back & forth, weeks at a time, months at a time.

Trial & Error treatments with multiple medications. Hours-long of dialysis three times a week. Blood infusions & Iron infusions. Surgery.

I wanted to start a GoFundMe to help my family support my mom's condition & get the financial support to help pay off existing medical bills or future treatments. Anything helps, whether that be: Dollars. Shares. Thoughts & Prayers.
