My name is Nicole, daughter of Veronica Toscano, who was detained by CBP on December 8th. My mom has no criminal record and did everything the right way, and has always followed the law.

Since she was taken to the border patrol, she has not been transferred to an immigration center, and we cannot get a hold of her at all. No phone call, no update, nothing. I don’t know where she’s sleeping, if she’s okay, or how she’s being treated. Not knowing anything about her condition is terrifying.

My mom came to the U.S. so my sister and I could have a future. She sacrificed everything, and now she’s alone in detention with no answers and no way for us to reach her.

I live out of state and i am even terrified to flight to miami to help with my little sister who was expecting her mother to come home.

My other older sister is out of the country unable to come neither, we are all tied up with no ways of doing anything and this is the least we could do.

I am raising funds to get her legal help, prepare for bond or release, and make sure she has support once she comes home.
