My Mom Teresa’s Cancer Expenses

With great sadness in my heart I am writing this, but also with great hope and strength for my mother Teresa. This past week, Teresa has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer that has metastasized to the spine and rib cage as well as the spinal fluid which is called Leptomeningeal Carcinomatosis. I know she will conquer this battle with my brother Luca and I by her side every step of the way. My mom will no longer be able to work as a hair stylist at Paul LaBrecque Salon & Spa in Palm Beach, for some time, while she is in treatment and recovery. Because of this, my brother Luca and I are asking for any financial amount to help us provide and take care of our mom as we proceed forward with her treatment, including the financial expenses associated with her diagnosis and treatment, medications and care as well as monthly expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries etc....so that Luca and I can stay in her apartment close to where she is being treated. We will use the funds to make sure she has everything she needs and so we can continue to be there for her in this time of need, just like she has done for us our entire lives.
        My mama Teresa will fight hard because she is the strongest woman in the entire world. We would like to take all of the financial burden away from her, so my brother Luca and I can give our full and undivided attention to taking care of her. I (Lucia) will not be able to work as I am my mom’s caretaker and support system. We speak life and healing into my mother in the Lord’s name, Amen. Teresa is a bright light who has truly touched every single soul she has come in contact with. For those who know my mom, you know without a doubt that she is the most giving woman to every person she has ever met. She would give the clothes off her back and would willingly go without, and has gone without, for far too long because she is always working hard as a single mother to take care of her children. Now it’s time for Luca and I to take care of my mom and any assistance we can get from family and friends would help us accomplish this mission. She is extremely caring and nurturing, as well as being the most resilient woman I have ever met. We pray that God watches over her and protects her. God bless you all.
