My Mom Needs Our Help Beating Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is TJ. I'm the oldest of four boys raised by my mom, Wendy. Our world stopped a few months ago when she told us she had cancer. All of us are big guys, one is a marine. And all of us were fighting back tears as my mom explained that she had Stage 4 cancer and if treatment went well she may be able to extend things for a few years. But she was telling us all this in a calm, collected voice. A voice that suggested she had taken stock of the situation and she was ready to do what she had to to survive. Because, that's what she's always done.
No matter the circumstances, she bore down and got things done; food on the table, baseball equipment, field trips, didn't matter. We also had full bellies and presents under our tree at christmas time. As adults looking back, we now know our family struggled financially but at the time my mom made sure we never knew it. We never wanted for anything. I have no doubt my mom will do whatever it takes again to fight cancer. Her courage is unlimited. Unfortunately, her financial resources are not. Bills are already piling up and it seems like each one is larger than the last. She deserves a shot at really giving this her best shot. To do that, she needs some help. Please donate whatever you can. Every little bit helps.
