My mother is the toughest person I know. There's nothing she can't handle but now she's being faced with her biggest challenge yet. On December 3rd, 2019 (my 33rd birthday) she was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer which is extremely rare and extremely aggressive.
She's one hell of a fighter but no amount of grit will take care of the bills. She's going to continue working while getting chemo but as a 60 year old woman who works four 12-hour shifts a week there's a very good chance that she's going to have to reduce her work-load.
She also has a service dog, an 8 year old black lab named Jessie who helps her around the house but also has to eat as well. I'm doing my best to help her but this is going to take every penny I have saved and them some.
I hate to ask but we need help. She's the only family I have. I know it's the holidays and trust me, this is a gift we both wish we could return. If you can spare a dollar it will mean the world to both of us.
