Help my mom Minnie Camacho fight breast cancer

Hello, my name is Daniel Ruiz. I am starting the fundraiser to help my mother, Minerva Camacho. I do not like to ask for help, but at this point, I need to. My mom means so much to me and I hate to see her worry about her medical bills as well as her monthly bills and expenses. My mom was diagnosed with Stage 3B breast cancer on July 6, 2022. I was beyond devastated. I was still coming to terms with the same diagnosis given to my twin sister approximately a year earlier. My mom has always put worrying about her children in front of her own worries about herself, which is why it took her so long to admit to my sisters that it was time to see a doctor about a lump she had noticed on her breast months before. She is now on medications that have shown promising results. She has monthly appointments with her oncologist and routine body scans, as well as many other doctor appointments. This will no doubt continue for the foreseeable future.

We lost my dear stepfather, David, in 2018 and my mom, now a widow, was stricken with grief for so long after his passing. Her only source of income is his social security check. My mom is on a fixed income and all her medical bills and monthly expenses have just become too much for her. Now with the summer heat upon us, I want to ensure my mom that she can use her AC window units without worrying about her electricity bill. I help her financially as much as I can but now I need your help. I want my mom to focus on her health and keep a positive attitude on her recovery. Money should be the last issue on her mind. Anything that you can donate, even $1, will be deeply appreciated. I am so grateful that I still have my mother here with me and I count my blessings every day.
