Hi, my name is Wesley Kraszewski and I am fundraising for my mother, Linda Kraszewski. On Monday, February 19, around 10am, an electrical fire started in the basement and rapidly made its way into the walls and spread throughout the whole house. The house was suddenly full off smoke and my mom was completely unaware of the fire that already fully engulfing the basement. My mom has COPD and struggled to make her way out of the smoke filled house. She was unable to locate and save Boots, our family cat of 17 years. He passed away in the fire, leaving everyone heartbroken. My aunt Terry and all other occupants were safely able to evacuate the home leaving all positions behind, to be lost to the fire, smoke and water damage.

My mom is having a really hard time coping with the reality of the situation. Her home of over 35 years is gone. With the strong possibility of it having to be torn down. Due to the extensive amount of damage to the structural aspects of the house. At this time, she is unable to retrieve any personal items from the home and may never be able to. She lost all physical memories of her life thus far and any remaining items of her past on husband, Scott Kraszewski. Who lost his battle to cancer not too long ago. My mom is frozen, in shock and disbelief. My sister, Heather Kelly, and I are doing our best to help her through this stressful situation as we try to move forward as an emotional broken family who lost our childhood home.

That house was full of so many happy memories and our lives will never be the same. So, if you could please donate to the recovery of my mother's life, I would appreciate it beyond words.
