Hey everyone, my name is Lauren and my mom is Debi, yesterday on 9/29/2022 my mom was woken up at 3 am to the sound of screams, she went to her front door to see what was going on, she noticed the smell of smoke and as soon as she opened her door she realized the entire building was engulfed in flames and they began to enter her door. she quickly shut the door and ran to the sliding glass door of her apartment and ran out that way, seconds after she got out with the help of a neighbor, her whole porch lit up in flames. She barely got out. A few of her neighbors have been reported deceased from this fire as the fire took over three apartment buildings and left over 30 families without a home. Needless to say, my mom lost absolutely everything in this fire, including her car. She came out with a nightgown and her phone and that is all she has to her name now. I am starting this fundraiser in hopes to help my mom raise money so she can afford to replace some things she lost. Obviously much of what was lost holds sentimental value and is not replaceable. But the things that are is what I’m raising money to help with. Any little bit helps.
