Hello, my name is Avavictoria and that is my mom Katherine , she was took from us on Sunday night around 1 am due to three gunshot wounds . She was murdered by a man of Simpsonville south Carolina who later committed suicide in the home he shot my mom in. His family and friends knew he had mental health issues also stating they were aware of him purchasing hand guns with intent to hurt himself but they never would’ve thought someone else. That’s what they told us to try and excuse themselves from the situation. My mom has two kids my brother and I she loved us too. She did not want to pass away my mom was a fighter if she was going to it would be herself or a freak accident so this is very devastating to my family and I. My mom tried to fight her attacker but later passed away due to injury . My mom played soccer and rode horses growing up she was so smart in school and always had the prettiest eyes. Being that my brother and I are young below the age of 25 we have no way really to help with expenses of this incident so we wanted to set up a go fund me not to only give my mom a proper peaceful lay down but also to spread awareness towards mental health because my mother had to pay the consequences of someone who didn’t care nor did there family seem to after openly admitting they knew. I’m beyond heartbroken that my brother and I lost our best friend anything given is appreciated thank you
