My Mom got scammed and needs some help.

Hello! Yesterday my Mom fell victim to scammers and was conned out of a significant amount of money. It was money she had gotten from my Dad’s estate when he passed this past July. She’s heartbroken and feels so defeated. She knows she should have seen the signs that it was a scam but as it was happening she was just scared that she was going to lose more and that calling us would end up compromising our phones/accounts.

We’ve unfortunately always been a paycheque to paycheque kind of family and this had finally given my Mom a little bit of piece of mind and a little nest egg to rely on.

If I had the means, I would help her out but hoping the kindness of people will prevail instead of the terrible scammers in the world.
