Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

I never imagined I would be writing this, but life can change in an instant, and my family is in desperate need of your help. My mom, the strongest, most selfless woman I know, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer.

For those who know my mom, you know that she’s always been the heart of our family. She’s the one who brings us together, makes sure everyone is taken care of, and never asks for anything in return. Now, the roles have reversed, and she needs us more than ever.

The diagnosis has shaken us to our core. My mom is facing an incredibly tough battle. She will be undergoing intensive treatments, including chemotherapy and radiation, over the next 6 months. While she is fighting for her life, she’s unable to work and support our family of 6. As the main breadwinner, this has put a huge financial strain on us. We’re struggling to cover medical bills, everyday expenses, and basic needs during this challenging time.

Asking for help is never easy, but I know we can’t do this alone. We’re reaching out to anyone who is willing to lend a hand in this journey. Every single donation, no matter the size, will go directly to support my mom’s treatment and help sustain our family through these uncertain months.

Ayuda a mi mamá a luchar contra el carcinoma nasofaríngeo y apoyar a su familia

Queridos amigos, familiares y personas compasivas,

Nunca imaginé que tendría que escribir esto, pero la vida puede cambiar en un instante, y mi familia necesita desesperadamente de su ayuda. Mi mamá, la mujer más fuerte y desinteresada que conozco, ha sido diagnosticada recientemente con carcinoma nasofaríngeo en etapa 4, un tipo de cáncer raro y agresivo.

Para aquellos que conocen a mi mamá, saben que siempre ha sido el corazón de nuestra familia. Es la persona que nos une, que se asegura de que todos estén bien, y nunca pide nada a cambio. Ahora, los roles se han invertido, y ella nos necesita más que nunca.

El diagnóstico nos ha sacudido profundamente. Mi mamá está enfrentando una batalla increíblemente difícil. Durante los próximos 6 meses, se someterá a tratamientos intensivos, que incluyen quimioterapia y radiación. Mientras lucha por su vida, no puede trabajar y mantener a nuestra familia de 6 personas. Como la única fuente de ingresos, esto ha puesto una enorme carga financiera sobre nosotros. Estamos luchando para cubrir los gastos médicos, los gastos cotidianos y nuestras necesidades básicas durante este tiempo tan desafiante.

Pedir ayuda no es fácil, pero sé que no podemos hacerlo solos. Estamos buscando a cualquiera que esté dispuesto a echarnos una mano en este difícil trayecto. Cada donación, sin importar el tamaño, irá directamente para apoyar el tratamiento de mi mamá y ayudar a sostener a nuestra familia durante estos meses de incertidumbre.
