Hi everyone,

My name is Gabby, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my amazing mom, Lisa. My sister, Milan, is about to undergo brain surgery to address her severe illness that causes multiple seizures every day. Milan often experiences drop seizures, which make her fall, head first, without warning. To protect herself, she currently wears a helmet, but after surgery, she won't be able to wear it. Instead, she'll have to use a gait belt that someone needs to hold onto whenever she's up and about.

This means my mom will need to be by Milan's side constantly for 6 to 8 weeks after her surgery. Unfortunately, this also means she won't be able to work as much as she needs to, and we could really use some financial assistance during this time.

On top of everything, my mom was recently in a car accident and was hurt. She is currently in therapy and without a car, relying on the city bus, Uber, and the kindness of family and friends for transportation. This has added another layer of stress to an already difficult situation.

We are hoping to raise enough funds to help cover our living expenses, transportation costs, and any additional medical expenses during Milan's recovery period. Any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping us navigate this challenging time.
