My Mom and hero: Mrs. Yee Yee Myint to beat Cancer

Hi, my name is Bliz and my mom needs help to survive breast cancer. The care that she needs isn’t available in Phuket, Thailand where she has lived and worked since 2006. She and my Dad have been married for 34 years and escaped our war torn country of Myanmar so that their children my sister May Myint Mayte Zin (21) , my brother Aung Myat Thu (29) and me Kaung Myat Thu “ Bliz” (25) could have better lives. They worked hard and sacrificed so much so that I could receive an education. I graduated 2023 from Phuket Rajabhat University with a Bachelor Degree of Humanity and social science and have tried to give back by teaching Burmese children here who do otherwise have no education. Along with my Dad, all of my siblings and I work to support our Mom but still do not have the financial ability to fully provide the medical care she deserves. Her whole life she gave to anyone in need and now she needs help more than ever. No one should die because they couldn’t afford or recieve proper care, especially not my Mom. She is my best friend.

Any amount helps and I promise to always help others because you helped us. We are traveling to Bangkok for the only specialty cancer care available in Thailand with support from our friend and American doctor. We just need some help to cover medical treatment. We will update here how every single amount of money is being used and, hopefully, how my Mom’s health is improving.
