Hi, my name is Nick and this is my mom's story. I’m raising money for my mom during this hard time right now. We have very close relationship. She’s a single mom and I’m her only child. It was in late December she was sick with COVID but bad. Then she got pneumonia which lead to severe abdominal pains, consistent severe vomiting that prevented her to eat or drink for over 2 months which is unbelievable. She was unable to even swallow her own saliva. She lost over 100 lbs. We’ve been in and out of the emergency and they’ve done numerous tests on her and they come back negative. We’ve seen a few doctors, got different opinions and still no diagnosis or treatment to what she has. It was just a few weeks ago, she collapsed in the bathroom and now she is very lethargic, unstable, and just isn’t the same woman she was a few weeks ago. Again tests were done and still doctors can’t figure what’s wrong with her so now she’s been transported to UCLA and now they say her autoimmune system was attacking itself to make her body shut down. She's finally awake and alert but now she has to learn how to walk and eat again. Also she's suffering from what it looks like some kind of dementia She’s all I have. The funds will be used for ALL her medical bills since she hasn’t been receiving any income. All my income has been going to my bills and hers.
