My Mia Bug

Hi, I'm Mia's mom. If you know me at all, then you know I hate doing this, but we have been fighting this battle for the better part of this year and it's wearing me down so I'm not too proud to ask for help to get what I need, to do what I need to do. I'm fundraising so that I can finish meeting my out-of-pocket expenses for our family deductible, which are tier 2 because we don't have any options for treatment in tier 1. I did ask for concessions through insurance because Tier 1 had no treatment facilities, however, the concession is that there are Tiers. Our out-of-pocket is 8,000 for the year. Mia has been fighting Hodgin's Lymphoma since the end of April, tests, surgery, treatments, labs, etc., We have gotten into a pretty good flow, but I'm out of PDO at work which means I'm no longer getting paid for Chemo days or lab days and any hospital, testing or procedure days that I have to take off from work. I'm asking for any help with those expenses, and any expenses that are not covered, plus the extra outside of regular expenses we incur, excess travel, gas, food, etc., while we have appointments weekly or more frequently.

Thank you for all the support you have given us. Mia continues to use Chemo cream for her skin, wigs, etc., to make herself look and feel as normal as possible. If you aren't aware Mia got covid earlier this month. We were in the hospital with that for 3 days, then home, readmitted because she got an infection from Covid as her immune system is weak. She just wants to get her life back. She can't wait to get this behind her and start working and school again and start living as normal as possible. Whatever that means. In the meantime, we press forward for the next several months. I have to work and travel, she has to still have treatments and then we get scanned when they are over and I'm claiming in faith that there will be no radiation needed or further treatments.
