My Little Dream for School

Hello everyone,

My name is Jennifer. I’m a 19-year-old sophomore in college! Of course, we all have a dream to meet our future jobs and goals. Growing up, I’ve had my hardworking parents who work daily to try to give me and my siblings food on the table, clothes, and cover home expenses.

My only dream was to become someone big to change their lives and help them not worry about anything. I wanted to become a doctor or Nurse one day since I was young. The love I have just to see someone smile heals me enough. I work as a teacher assistant to help with bills. But unfortunately that isn’t enough to cover my own living cost and bills.

I started my college journey to pursue my dream in the medical field. But it truly has become a big burden on me, where I am slowly losing hope and dreams. Tuition is increasing, books, and just living has become an issue where I financially can’t afford it all myself anymore. And nothing hurts more besides not finishing school is knowing that I can’t complete the promise I once made to help my family out, especially in times like these.

Currently, times are rough with current-day situations Globally. And with all the pain, I truly am at the point of losing the people I love most.

I wouldn’t ever ask for help because I believe that I want others to succeed and provide them help. Never once did I think this day would come down to me.
