My mama's race to amputate!

Y'all know me. I'm Kim, aka Angry Midget, aka Short Stack, aka all the short jokes. And this is my mama. As most know, about a month ago, she started having some numbness and discoloration in her left fingers. Since then (because it took effing forever), she finally saw a vascular surgeon and had an angiogram done after a venous a doppler ultrasound showed stenosis of her ulnar artery. The testing showed that she had palmer thrombosis, which basically means she has thrown clots in her hand cutting off circulation to her fingers. She has seen the hand specialist who will do the surgery of amputation part of her index finger. (They are amazing by the way!) Some of these other doctors and nurses aren't getting the urgency of this situation. Her remaining fingers, (except for that trusty thumb!) are starting to get affected in the same way her pointer finger started. They're forming blisters, are very edematous, and purple in color. Only the middle finger has warmth to it (ironic, I know...). She is quickly burning through her sick and PTO time at work. You know who doesn't care about that? These a-hole doctors and bills. So, I'm starting this in hopes of helping her out with some expenses and to be able to stay afloat through all of this. Most people who know my mom knows 1. She's deaf as can be. That struggle is real. I had to throw this in for color. 2. She would do anything she could to help someone out. 3. She's a hard worker and just wants to go back to work so badly. Alas, she is unable to do it with the state of her hand. So if you feel led, or wanna just be a super cool person and help my mama out, it would be much appreciated! She's almost 70 and still rocking the ER nurse life she always has. All she wants to do is get back to work, but she's running out of time to help with these days off she's been having to take just to get in with specialist after specialist. And if you don't feel led or just can't (cause believe me, I get that) all of the prayers would be greatly appreciated. My mama is amazing and I wish I could do more than I already am. But I could totally use the help to help make sure she is taken care of with all if this. I'll upload pictures to show the progression of this craziness! The funds will help keep her afloat for household and medical bills steming from all of this. Anything would be so damn appreciative that I might have to do the Truffle Shuffle. We aren't sure how long she will actually have to miss work. So far it's been 3 weeks. And she would go back today if she was able to use that hand properly. But she can barely bend her fingers at times from the swelling, and this is causing her pain to the point she loses so much needed sleep! So Thanks for reading my rant and God bless!!
