My mam Barbara

Hi, my name is Christina and I’m fundraising for my mam Barbara. One year ago my mam tried to commit suicide after years of suffering with severe depression. My mam tried to reach out and find help from doctors and specialists but was only offered medications that did not help. She was failed by the medical system and couldn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. My mam walked out in front of the luas and suffered severe brain damage which left her in a coma for two months, when she finally came around we realised she could not talk, walk, or fend for herself. She now needs constant care to do the simplest of tasks and is wheelchair bound. My mam was the most loving, caring, down to earth women and was loved by everyone who knew her, unfortunately she couldn’t love herself the way others did and taught we would be better off without her, I’m starting this fundraiser to help with her carehome and medical bills. I work part time and am in college, when I’m not I am with her trying to help with her recovery mentally and physically.It is just myself and my mam, we have no other family or financial help and I just don’t know where to turn too, any donations would be hugely appreciated by both of us.
