On Thursday April 27th, my loving wife lost her battle with stage 4 cancer. After 6 months of fighting her hardest unfortunately the cancer got to the point where her treatment was no longer effective. After some positive scans in earlier scans we all had plenty of hope that she could overcome this illness. After speaking with her oncologist the cancer spread to her liver. The doctor told us that she had limited time left. One of the most important things she wanted to do was to get back to California to meet her new nephew and be with family. I promised I would get her there and be with her every step of way. She passed away peacefully holding my hand looking at me. I lost my best friend, my soul mate and my better half.
