My mother Concepcion Corvera was tragically taken away from us.
She was on her way home from the Red Earth Casino in Thermal, CA to Los Ángeles, CA in a tour bus (see link) .
Once we heard the news story Sunday morning my brother, father, and myself drove two hours in search of my mother. All we had was the news story posted online. We visited all three hospitals listed on the news story with no luck. Our worst nightmare became reality. Our mom was no longer with us.
I can not describe the pain we feel. She was a beautiful mother of four children, a wife, and a grandmother of five girls all under six years of age.
We pray to God to bring peace to my family and all the other families involved.
