My Lovely Horse Rescue In Honour of Sheena Lawler

Hi Everyone,

Our beautiful Sheena was taken from us far, far too soon by cancer. She has left a massive hole in all our lives, and not a minute goes by that we don’t think about her. Sheens was a very special soul, as anyone who knew her will know all too well. Her love and dedication for the care of animals was one of her most admirable attributes. Her amazing work colleagues at Maples Group, will be holding a charity event in her memory which we will be attending, with all proceeds being donated to a charity extremely close to her heart, My Lovely Horse Rescue. We know that Sheens will be absolutely beaming with pride with the idea of such a wonderful charity receiving much needed funds in her honor, as are we. So with that, we would love to raise some funds from anyone wishing to make a donation, however small, in our Sheens name, which we can present to this incredible charity on the day.

My Lovely Horse Rescue is a truly fantastic organization, devoted to caring, and working tirelessly to save animals in need, as well as educating in the importance of care and animal welfare, they are unfortunately involved all too often in the saving of poor souls who have been cruelly mistreated. Those animals who do end up in the hands of My Lovely Horse Rescue, could not land in a better place with people who will fight with every inch of their being to bring these animals back to full health and hopefully find their new forever homes. Vet bills, and the upkeep of all these babies, mean their running costs are understandably huge, therefore any donation at all will go a long way in helping them continue to save lives.

My Lovely Horse Mission Statement:

“Our mission is to save as many animals as we can, to educate the humans who own them and to work with law enforcement agencies, animal welfare bodies and members of the public to achieve this. We hope that, through this, Ireland can become a world leader in the area of animal health and welfare, a country that respects and cherishes the lives of those who share our world. We need to get to a place where our animal welfare laws are understood, respected and enforced by those entrusted with this task. We hope for a society with zero tolerance for animal neglect and abuse. We know we can get there.

To these ends we in MLHR will rescue, rehabilitate and rehome equines, Dogs, Pigs, Goats, cats, we work cooperatively with government, law enforcement, non-governmental animal welfare bodies, the private sector and members of the public to achieve our goals.”
