Hi my name is Chantal and I am asking for help. My boyfriend Marty Russell had been in the hospital for a week with pain from a hernia. I thought he was recovering well. He had been having issues with breathing all his life mainly severe asthma. He had been diagnosed with Severe Asthma and was told he may have COPD but some doctors said yes some said no. So confusing. I truly thought he was calling me that Monday morning to tell me to pick him up. Instead it was HSN telling me he had a cardiac arrest. I had spent a wonderful few days with him and was floored by this. I immediately came to Sudbury. He is in a coma in the ICU they are not sure of his outcome yet as tests are still being done. He is as of now unresponsive to stimuli. I am asking for help to continue to be by his bedside. As most know I recently had my own health crisis and had returned to work because I couldn't afford to stay off. I really need help with hotel rooms, food, gas and I hate asking for help. Please consider my request. If anything i need prayers and more prayers that Marty pulls through. Marty is a great guy and I am devastated.
