The North Devon Forum for Autism and Adhd and Ataxia UK.

I'm running the Roadford Trail Half Marathon on Saturday 2nd November. This is in support of a friend who is also running.

I'm choosing to fundraise for two charities that have helped my family over the past few years. The 'North Devon Forum for Autism and Adhd' and 'Ataxia UK', as my daughter has both conditions.

The North Devon Forum for Autism and Adhd has been invaluable with advice and support, even providing the opportunity for trips and events that we wouldn't otherwise wouldn't have had.

Ataxia UK has been great at providing information and advice about a little known condition, of which we had never heard of. Through them we have found out that my daughter has one of the rarer subtypes that needs much more research in order to continue helping families like mine.

I will split the total raised equally between my chosen charities, presenting half directly to the trustees of The North Devon Forum for Autism and Adhd, and sending the other half as a donation to Ataxia UK.

Training is going well and I think I'm actually looking forward to my half marathon run!
