My little family who's life has changed forever.

Hello, my name is Chloe and on Friday night 28.06.2024 our lives flashed before our eyes.
My partner Wade went to the pub for a few beers to celebrate his mates birthday, little did he know that going to this certain pub was going to change his life forever. At about 11.30 that night Wade was stabbed in the stomach twice by two occupants of the pub. Police rushed to the scene and started immediate first aid on him and saved his life.
The following day he was in surgery for the most part of the day. He has had to have part of his bowel removed, his bladder stitched back together, his stomach pumped and the list of things go on. Doctors still aren't sure how long recovery is going to be.
Given Wade is the sole income earner for our family as we have just had baby Zaya only 9 short weeks ago and i am still on maternity leave, the financial struggle we are now going to face is a scary pill to swallow. Not only is the cost of living a scary thought for everyone at the moment, we have little Ollie in school so trying to juggle being at hospital while also trying to do school pick ups and drop off is a challenge within itself. I understand everyone is doing it tough these day and that thought really has made me hesitate to even make this but the stress of being able to afford to live while Wade is in recovery is something that doesn't seem achievable at the moment.
