DEE is a fun Loving Mother to 2 beautiful Kids, lovely friend we are always laughing and getting up to all sorts together. When i got ill she was there for me. she helped me through the bad times when i lost my husband even though she was going through something as tough as the cancer she had going on, keeping it quiet so i didn't get upset again. When she went to chemo she was always upbeat and laughing but i know inside she was angry at the world for having it. She has become the big sister i never had.
Well Dee was diagnosed with Herr 2 breast cancer in Aug 2016. She has been through Chemo, Radiotherapy and had her breast removed. But we have been told that Dee has only got 6-12 months to live the chemo has stopped working, even the trial chemo has stopped as you can imagine this is a massive thing to be told but then to go home and tell your kids what you have been told was one of the most painfullest things i have ever had to go through. She has made sure that she keeps positive and that they are going to be making memories and enjoy the time she has got left.
Dee is 46 and a single mum who has always worked until she started the chemo for the breast cancer. She has got 2 lovely Kids they are 19yrs old and 14yrs old. The 19yr old goes to university and has got 2 yrs left and the 14 yr old goes to school.They haven't got any family so they have just got us to look after them. They want to stay in there family home and the 19yr old will commute to uni from Welling every day so that her and her brother can still be together. With this in mind they don't have any money coming into the household.
Dee has used all her savings on making sure that they had a roof over there head whilst she was going through the chemo, but has now no savings at all. With everything that is going on in the kids life and with Dee not having a lot of time left, i don't want the kids to have to worry about how they are going to cope or Dee worrying about how they are going to pay for her funeral and keep a roof over there heads. they should be spending time making memories, and enjoying the limited time they have left with their mum.
The funds that i hope we can raise are for the funeral and for the bills thereafter until it lasts. I will make sure that every penny is accounted for.
