I’m raising money because my little brother Cory has been diagnosed with a rare, painful disease that has debilitated him for the last year. He’s basically bedridden at just 27 years old. The disease is called, Adhesive Arachnoiditis. It basically strangles your spinal cord and is a very painful disease. He has been to several specialist and nobody has been able to help him. The most recent episode has caused his brain to swell and he has been in the hospital for a week with a stint put in his brain to drain the fluid. My parents have been by his side the whole time and with him being in a speciality hospital 4 hours away from home, my parents have been staying in cheap motels to be by his side. He has finally got a great Doctor that seems to be making progress and the doctor has been addressing his issues, but my parents are retired and it’s getting expensive for them. Please help me raise money to help pay for their ability to be close to their child as he recovers, or at least we hope. Maybe a little money can at least help offset all the medical bills they have been paying for the last year.
