My little brother Jeffrey passed away a week ago today. He lived on Maui on disability and had no money nor anything set up for his final disposition. The cost for a simple cremation, funeral fees and ashes in a cardboard box is $2274.29. This is also needed by today in order for me to pick up his ashes by Friday and limit the funeral storage fees. If not picked up Friday then I go home without spreading any on the island and bringing some home to take where he wants to be, Quilcene Washington. I flew to Maui to take care of things and was able to have flight taken care of and a place to stay. But I have no money of my own to take care of this. I’m spending bill money for a rental car and to feed myself. I am having a hard time selling what few things he had. What little he had is used stuff that he bought or found and infested with cockroaches. So here I am coming to anyone that might be able to spare a dollar or two to help me with this?
