My name is Cheryl, and this is the hardest moment of my entire life. I’ve always been strong, independent, and the one who pushed through every challenge. But this year broke me in ways I never could’ve imagined.

What started as a blood clot turned into a nightmare of medical mistakes, infections, and complications that spiraled out of control. I endured unbearable pain, repeated hospitalizations, and ultimately an amputation that changed my life forever. I’ve since needed a D&C to stop internal bleeding, and now I’m facing a hysterectomy to prevent cancer from spreading and even more serious complications.

My body is exhausted. My spirit is tired. And I’m fighting every single day just to hold on.

I’ve lost my mobility. I’ve lost my ability to work. And with the holidays approaching, I’m terrified of losing my home because I simply cannot keep up with the mounting medical bills, basic living costs, and travel for constant treatment. I’m trying to heal, but the stress and fear of falling further behind is overwhelming.
