Hi all,

Well life threw a curve ball at me on Friday at the radiology department. (More like I'm Barry Bonds and a pitcher was trying to kill me). I have breast cancer.

Part of this latest emergency is because, like a lot of others, I didn't get annual mammograms during Covid.

I'm two years into a Disability claim and can only work part-time per SSDI. Now I won't even be able to do that, certainly not after the lumpectomy or the mastectomy (not sure which yet). And, surprise, my cancer probably will do nothing to hasten the glacial slow claims process.

I know most of you are struggling to pay your own bills, so maybe you know someone who knows someone? Wish this was snarky and funnier. Much Love - Mel
