My name is Drea, but I'm known online mostly by the name Kittie, and I run a small business creating 3D assets for the platform/game SecondLife.

I do all of my own 3D modeling and texture work, as well as all of the business aspects such as all management of the storefront, and marketing. I also personally coded and maintain the website for my business. So, my computer is vital to my personal wellbeing.

For the past few months I have been experiencing some issues with my laptop that I use for work overheating and shutting off because of the overheating. I have tried everything I can to remedy it including opening it up to clean out dust, and placing it on a cooling pad with fans. Even when it's very cold in the room and a fan pointed toward it while on the cooling pad it will shut off when I am working in the programs I use to create my art. It's gotten progressively worse to a point that I now can't even run Blender, the main program I use for creating, so I can't work. This has got me in a very tight spot with money and I could use some help.

I have a friend who has very generously offered to give me most of the parts I need for a whole new desktop pc (if you see this, thank you!). I only need to get a case, power supply, ssd, and buy a key for windows to run on it.

The amount I am asking for help with will be spent as follows:

$300 toward the computer case/power supply/ssd (this will take priority because with these things I can get back to making my own money faster)

$250 will go toward my bills which are falling behind while I am unable to work (fortunately I do not have to pay rent as my house is family owned, and just need a little help with a couple utilities so that they don't go so past due that I'm at risk of shutoffs)

Windows will operate without being activated, so I'm not prioritizing that, and will get a key for it once I am back on track.

Anything you can give would help, and if you can't just sharing this around would also be helpful and so appreciated. I know it's hard out here for everyone, especially this time of year, so please don't feel obligated or bad if you can't help.
