Hi, my name is Daria.

I’m Ukrainian, originally from Dnipro city. Because of the war, I had to relocate to Portugal and start my life again from scratch. I’m a photographer with over 7 years of work experience.

Honestly, asking for help is very hard for me.

I started working at a young age to help

my parents. I’m 24 years old, self-employed, and trying to build stability in a new country while continuing to support my family in Ukraine.

I work as a creative professional and often collaborate with Ukrainian communities in Portugal: creating content, documenting people and events, and supporting our people during very difficult times. My work is not just my income - it’s how I stay connected, useful, and emotionally grounded.

Recently, all of my work equipment, (my laptop and camera), broke at the same time. Without these tools, I’m unable to work, find new clients, or support myself and my family.

Buying new equipment is very hard for me right now, which is why I decided to ask for help. All funds raised will go directly to buying a new laptop and camera.
