My Kind Hearted Daughter is Fighting to Live
The story of Jessica -
Born a fighter and always willing to
battle for her family. Speaking her mind with honesty, pure love, and always with a dose of humor, has given Jessica the
strength to continue to be a fighter.
She has a wonderful loving family, but
her entire universe and heart belongs to
her beautiful daughter, Hadley. In her
words, “My little girl is the reason I fight.
Even though the longer I fight the more I have to suffer. But I would rather feel
this way then not be there to see my
baby girl grow up.”
Jess has suffered and underwent many
heartbreaking losses. Before the
diagnosed cancer she was already used
to a great deal of pain dealing with many medical ailments as a child and endometrisosis that was diagnosed as a young teenager... but she continued to have problems. Over the course of many years Jessica endured multiple miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies,
countless surgeries and a heartbreaking stillbirth.
All of these problems led to the
discovery of cancer. Jess has been
fighting a very rare epithelial ovarian
cancer that further lead to more
ailments, more surgeries, chemotherapy, dialysis and many other forms of treatment. With all her treatments she is now also suffering from seizures, which is adding more insult to injury.
Due to her condition, lack of decent insurance coverage, need for more treatments,
and a surgery that could end her suffering and rid herself of the cancer, she is unable to sustain a full time job and keep up with the never-ending medical bills. Being the stubborn fighter she still does what she can to try and keep food on the table, and homeschool the little one.
Jessica is set to have surgery (as the
doctors think they can go in safely now
to try and remove the cancer), but insurance will not approve a full hysterectomy, which the doctors feel is the best and most likely, only way to end this medical roller coaster. Due to Jessicas inability to work, and the medical bills getting too massive to handle, there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel that can give her the hope to be able to save up for the surgery.
I am asking if you can open up your heart
(and your wallet) to try and help out my
daughter and her family get the money
they need to pay for the surgery that
insurance won't cover, and to help them with living expenses, and past due medical bills. This would just give them a chance to catch their breath and have hope. Hope is what I feel she needs the most now, as do we all after such a difficult year. We’re not ready to lose her, and she refuses to leave Hadley alone in this world without being right by her side to walk her through life.
Jessica is a fighter, but she needs help
with this one. This woman has way more
life to live and more love and kindness to
give. This is truly the person who would
honestly give that stranger her last penny, and the food on her plate after days of not eating herself. She may not like us asking for your help as she’s one of those, I can do all things myself, type of woman... but it’s not just for her, it’s for her family that isn’t ready to lose her and a daughter that needs her.
