My Kids Aren't Alright

My youngest son, Kiah, is twenty two and he and his long-term partner Celeste desperately need and deserve some hope. They lost everything they own but the clothes on their backs a few nights ago due to a fire in their rental home. They barely got out alive and I thank every God in the sky that their neighbor was able to wake them in time. Kiah has lost all of his mechanic tools for his trade (thousands of dollars worth) and thus has lost his ability to make a living, plus all of their earthly possessions, clothing, shoes, toiletries, cooking utensils, even their vital documents, photographs, and cell phones.

They have struggled and worked so hard to make rent and bills because we all know how tough it is just to scratch a living out paycheck to paycheck when you are just starting in life. But now, they have been devastated down to the foundation and need a miracle. I can have them stay with me for a few weeks but it isn't a permanent solution due to my circumstances. These kids are so deserving. And they are trying so hard. And it's so hard for them to ask for help. As a mom, I want my son and his partner to thrive. He has dealt with so many obstacles that instead of building character, I am worried that they are beginning to chip away at his spirit.

I am planning to work overtime at a brand new job to try to help but I also live paycheck to paycheck and am struggling financially. They live in a remote town two hours north of me (Oracle, Arizona) without many public resources because of the housing crisis in the city where I live (Tucson).
