My kidney couldn't kill me but the bills might!

Long story short, what started as the smallest possible kidney stone turned into sepsis over the course of 17 hours. It wasn't great.

After two ER visits, three procedures, and one super fun, four-day admission to the ICU, I'm proud to announce that my kidneys are no longer actively trying to kill me! Woo! But, I've also accumulated an anxiety-inducing amount of medical debt. I don't love that I almost died and I also don't love that I had a "good" job with "good" health insurance and I'm still desperately struggling to pay off medical bills that I acquired back in March. Y'all know how it is.
