My Journey with MS & Optic Neuritis

Donation protected
First of all, I would like to thank you for even investigating this page :) I am grateful to God that he has sent me your way. Feel free to read about what has been going on: 2 weeks ago I began experiencing very intense eye pain when I looked side to side. Then the eye pain turned into blurry vision and I lost both color and sight in my right eye. When this had happened I went to the Hospital for an ocular emergency and they diagnosed me with Optic Neuritis. The Optic Neuritis is caused by my brain swelling and pushing up against my eye making it so I cannot see. Also it is estimated that I will not have my full functioning vision in my right eye for 6 months. After they had determined that I have Optic Neuritis they told me that 50% of patients who have it go on to develop MS also known as Multiple Sclerosis (a disease that you have for the rest of your life, in which my immune system will eat away at the protective coverings of my nerves. When any part of the nerve fiber is damaged people get a variety of symptoms, the major one being paralyzation)  Because of this I spent the next  week in the hospital undergoing magnetic resonance imaging of the brain, urine tests, EKG heart monitors, MRI on my spinal cord, blood tests, infusion, TONS of IV's, testing of my sensory neurons, and so many other hard, bizarre, and invasive tests. The amazing doctors who have been working with me, have discovered abnormalities and I have many warning signs for Multiple Sclerosis-- and the doctors say that damage should appear within the next few years. Because of my upcoming MS and Optic Neuritis I have to go to infusion clinics to receive drugs, go to a special nutritionist, see my special team of 4 neurologists once a week, go see my ophthalmologist, see family services, see a Multiple Sclerosis specialist, get MRIs of both my spine and on my brain every 2 months, and the list goes on and on. This is a very hard and stressful experience in the first place. With this I cannot go on my LDS Mission, I cannot drive, and I am out of a job with this disability. I do not know what is in store for me. But what I do know is that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are there through this difficult time. I am holding on to them with all my heart and strength and I know that they will help me in my trials as well as help you in yours.  So with all of this upcoming news about my medical dilemmas I am asking for just a small donation. Even If you donate one dollar I would be so incredibly grateful for your Christ-like love. I also understand that not everyone has a lot of extra money (me included) so please send prayers, good thoughts, what ever you believe in I need them!! I know that God is watching over all of us and I have felt so much never ending love from my family, my friends, and my savior. Thank you for looking at this page god bless you. :) <3
