My journey towards recovery

Hi and thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I've been struggling with anorexia since I was a teenager. I'm now 46 years old and I'm truly ready to fight the hard fight. My body has taken it's toll. And I'm not prepared to die—which will happen if I don't go to treatmet. I have multiple medical complications due to my eating disorder behaviors. My GI tract is failing me. My body is digesting my stomach lining. My brain is foggy and sometimes I can't compete words or sentences.

My doctor is recommending I follow through with each stage of recovery—inpatient, residential and IOP. So yes, I'll be there a while. I'm hoping to get into Walden Eating Disorder Treatment Center in Waltham, MA either next week or the following week.

With your help I will be able to complete all stages of recovery, which is necessary due to the length and history of my anorexia. With your help I will have the chance to live a happy and healthy life. With your help my husband won't need to check if I'm alive when I'm sleeping.

I'm hoping to have the funds around mid-November. I will be forever greatful with whatever you can donate to help me fight this demon in my head.
