Hi everyone,
My name is Amelia and I’m 14 years old. I recently underwent a trial selection process where we were observed and interviewed throughout the day in hopes of being selected for an opportunity to participate in The World Scout Jamboree or the Harrlem Jamborette . I am one of the few candidates to have been selected in the UK to go to The World Scout Jamboree in Poland 2027. It is an international camp with candidates from around the world participating and being held only once every four years. However this means that the cost of the trip is £3,500 per individual and I am hoping that your support can help me get to Poland.
I have been a part of Scouts for nine years, where we often support the local community by participating in events such as helping out at a food bank and at park runs. My own achievements include the Jack Petchey Award which I won in 2025 and also the District Commissioner's Award for raising over £1,200 when I was six years old to support homeless charities in Westminster. ( News article here)
I would deeply appreciate any donation no matter how small and sincerely hope you will consider helping me on my journey.
