My journey to sing in the Barcelona Festival of Song

Hello! My name is Baharnaz Alimohammadi and I am a second-year college student studying voice at UC Irvine. Recently, I was given an amazing opportunity to sing in the Barcelona Festival of Song, a vocal festival held in Barcelona every year for young singers as we study Spanish and Iberian art song repertoire. Run by Dr. Patricia Caicedo, this program acts as an immersive experience for young artists, and provides a deeply valuable opportunity to gain performance experience and cultural familiarity with classical music beyond the scope of what is presented at a university. Such experiences are important to gaining the performance experience needed for a career beyond college as a singer.

Unfortunately, the cost of tuition, housing, and travel for this program is very high, and my own job will not make enough revenue to cover the entire cost in time. My goal is to raise $1000 to cover the remaining of the $3500 tuition and travel costs that I cannot afford on my own. If anyone is able to donate anything at all, it would be immensely helpful and I would forever appreciate it, any little bit would be of infinite help
