My Journey to Becoming Cancer Free

As many of you know, I have stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I have been in treatment since Sept 2024. I have have a spot on my pelvis and a spot on my lung. I have a few more months of chemo and then I will be having surgery for a double mastectomy. I will be having surgery soon and will have to be out of work for months and will need help covering basic living expenses. It will be recommended for me to be out of work for 6 weeks. I am a per diem ER nurse who does not receive certain benefits to help with long time leave from work. I was denied for disability but still looking for resources. As time progresses, I’m getting weaker and it’s getting harder to work. Not sure how much longer I can go on.
