Hi,
It's me, Brandon, and I'm reaching out for support during one of the most challenging periods of my life.
On August 29, 2024, I was diagnosed with cancer and required emergency surgery to remove a tumor. I spent 2.5 weeks recovering before I could return to work. Thankfully, I was cancer-free.
On January 8, 2026, I received devastating news—my cancer had returned. After additional diagnostic testing, it was confirmed that I would need to begin chemotherapy treatment on February 2, 2026.
I will undergo four rounds of chemotherapy over a 13-week period. I've coordinated with my employer to go on Short-Term Disability during treatment, but I've been informed that I must continue paying my portion of medical and dental insurance premiums while on STD. This will significantly reduce my ability to cover rent and medical expenses not covered by insurance or my disability income. I'm expected to return to work during the last week of May 2026.
I'm asking for help to meet my $6,000 insurance deductible and cover basic living expenses during my treatment and recovery. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to me as I focus on healing and beating cancer for good.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can provide.
