My Ironman Dream: Help Me Get to the Starting Line

Hellooo friends, family, and kind strangers –
This is a little vulnerable to write, but here it goes. I’m training for my first full Ironman triathlon, and I’m asking for help to cover the registration cost so I can make this dream a reality.
For those who don’t know, a full Ironman is no small thing — it’s a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km run (yes, a full marathon)… all in one day. It’s one of the toughest endurance events in the world, and honestly, that’s part of why I feel so determined to do it. I have completed a couple Ironman 70.3s (Half Ironmans), so I think it's time to go for a full Ironman.
It’s one of the most meaningful goals I’ve ever set for myself. I’ve been working hard for months, waking up early, pushing through long workouts, and learning how to keep going even when it’s uncomfortable. But this journey has never just been about the finish line. It’s about growth, transformation, and doing something I once thought was impossible.
This challenge has been on my heart for a long time, and lately, I’ve felt more and more like it’s something God placed there on purpose. Not just to push my body, but also to stretch my spirit. Training for this has already taught me so much — about discipline, patience, self-belief, and trusting in the process. There have been tough days, long workouts, moments where I’ve cried out in frustration or fatigue, and others where I’ve felt pure joy and peace and cried of gratitude. Through it all, I’ve felt Him walking beside me.
I’ve been staying consistent, and pouring my heart into preparing for this goal. But one of the biggest barriers I’m facing right now is covering the registration fee for the race. That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser—to humbly ask for help getting to the starting line.
If you’re able to contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me. And if you’re not in a position to give, just cheering me on or sharing this page would make a huge difference too.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Let’s go do something hard—and amazing.
