I am the wife of delmar wogan jr and we talked about this for some time. Delmar has always been a work alcoholic since 16 years old and this last year being diagnosed with kidney failure has taken a toll on us. We've lost our only transportation losing all income and barely making it with social security has been to say the least rough. We unfortunately have to come to you all and ask for help which we are normally the ones that help everyone as much as we can and now we are left struggling. If you'd like to continue to follow Delmars journey in hopes of finding his living kidney donor you can feel free to follow his Facebook page Kidney4wogan. Thank you for taken the time to read about us and this journey we are on. God speed.
Hello my name is Erica Wogan and I come to you for dire need of help. My husband went to the emergency room with shortness of breathing and chest pains on February 5th 2024 and was diagnosed with stage 3 ckd (chronic kidney disease) we was rushed into surgery for a chest port for emergency dialysis. With all this going on we haven't been able to work in months due to him being sick. He is our main provider and now we are left with disconnection notices from not being able to pay the utilities or even being in the hospital. We see now forced to file for disability which ia going to take some time. So we come to our community asking for help.... I am making this as we are at a CT scan because they found a mass on his kidneys and his kidneys overall are only working 5% I will update with more information
Thanks in advance for any help Mrs Wogan
So I talk to several doctors today nobody knowing anything about his diagnosis. So I called dialysis and ask I'm looking at his file on my chart it says acute kidney disease and he's in dialysis whats this means she said most people who start dialysis are treated at acute until the first lab work comes back to see if there chances they can improve he's hasn't improve or gotten worse but they did switch him from acute to chronic stage 5 kidney end stage so she us going to put a note for the social worker to contact me about transplant information and regarding his diagnosis to inform me more.
