My name is Sherri. A month ago my husband recently suffered a stroke which landed him in the hospital only being 30 years old. About 3 weeks ago he made the bravest decision and went through one of the hardest things anyone possibly could. He made the choice to stop drinking for good and he is about 3 weeks over today and is doing amazing and is so so proud of himself as I am too. As a result of everything he also developed neuropathy and his hands in his feet which prevented him from doing almost anything from himself. He couldn't even stand up walk or grab anything without intense pain which left me to stay at home to care for my husband as well as our daughters and our animals because he was unable to do anything for himself and I became his primary caregiver. I was left out of work and was promised I would still have my job which I do not know which left us in a very bad position. We have until the 26th of this month at midnight to pay our rent otherwise we will be evicted and we've talked with people we have nowhere to go that will take us our kids as well as our three animals. Him and I have absolutely worked so hard for everything we have and we do as hard as we can to provide. I was expecting one of last paycheck and found out a few days ago that I do not have one and I'm dealing with that but I won't hear or see any of it until after the 26th. I have another job lined up and ready to start next week but we just won't have the money and time and we've tried to 211, calling different churches and organizations for help and either there is a waitlist or there is no funds to help. I've tried every option I possibly could for my family for the past 2 days and I'm just not getting anywhere. I'm really praying for a miracle that we get to stay in this home and that my husband can continue to recover so we can get back to our normal lives. I'm praying for any sort of miracle and I mean absolutely anything at all. All this with my husband has been about a month and a half long battle but what choice did I have as his wife I had to stay at home and care for my family as there was little to no help and I had no other options. My husband is starting to do a little better to where I can get back to work finally and I'm ready to get back to work. I'm praying for a miracle if anyone's able to do anything at all anything will literally help as we have till the 26th. I've been praying so so hard for a miracle to happen for us this time I will literally do anything for my family whether it's right up a contract to pay whoever back or anything I'm just really trying to save my home. My rent is only 1100 but then we've wrecked up $200 in late fees because my husband hasn't been able to work and I've been the only one working. Like I said I'm just going to keep praying and that this is in God's hands now. I'm able to provide proof and hospital paperwork for my husband to prove everything that is going on along with all the medications he has to been taking. Everything has been out of my hands and I'm literally trying to do everything I can please if you can't donate please share and get as many people to share as you can I would be entirely grateful.
