Hi my name is Julie, Over the last 10 years, my health journey has been one of immense resilience and determination. From undergoing eye surgery to living with chronic back pain, each chapter has brought its own battles. A life-altering stroke and multiple surgeries for recurrent liposarcomas have tested me in ways I never imagined, but through it all, I’ve found strength in my husband, who not only supports me in life but also as my partner in our part-time paranormal investigation team, EY Spirit Seekers. As I take on this walk, he’ll be right by my side, and together, we’re raising funds for two causes close to my heart: Candlelighters, a children’s cancer charity bringing hope to young lives, and the Plastics Day Surgery Unit at my local hospital, whose care and dedication over the past five years of cancer treatment have meant the world to me.
